The venue
A garden with history
Andromeda sits on the hillside above Bathsheba on Barbados's east coast, looking out over the Atlantic. Iris Bannochie began the garden in 1954; today it belongs to the Barbados National Trust and holds more than 600 plant species. It is the Caribbean's only Royal Horticultural Society Partner Garden.
For a wedding, the gardens offer a series of smaller and larger spaces, each with its own atmosphere, so you can choose a spot that fits your guest count. Two things to know early. The gardens rent you the space but don't organise the event, so you or your planner bring in the rentals and decoration. And unless your ceremony is in the evening, the gardens stay open to visitors while you marry.

Garden spaces are reached along paths, not loading bays. I bring a compact, professional setup that moves on foot and still fills the space, with backup gear on hand.

We confirm with the gardens where power is available for your chosen spot. Where it isn't, we plan battery-powered ceremony sound, so no generator hums through your vows.
Vows you can hear
The east coast catches the trade winds. Wind shields on every mic and speakers placed with the breeze in mind mean your guests hear the vows, not the wind.
Considerate by day
At a daytime ceremony the gardens are still open, so ceremony music stays elegant and considerate. An evening booking gives you the gardens to yourselves, and the party can grow.
A timeline with room
Many guests will be staying on the west or south coast, a drive across the island. I keep the arrival music flexible, so a late shuttle never rushes your entrance.
Open format, planned with you
Soul, lovers rock and acoustic-leaning songs for the ceremony, then R&B, reggae, soca, Afrobeats, house and the classics your guests know once the party starts. We plan must-plays and do-not-plays together.
